ELA :

Kindergarten students will aggrandize their understanding of global conservation during our World unit. Through various texts, videos and resources students volition learn ways to conserve the Earth's resources including those found in the state, air and water. They will acquire nigh concepts such equally conservation of water and energy and combating pollution through the 3Rs– reducing, reusing, and recycling.  Using the content knowledge they obtain, students will work toward composing total or modified advisory paragraphs using the informational writing checklist and vocabulary word walls.

Math :

Kindergarten students just finished an introduction to addition and subtraction within ten. They have practiced identifying when to utilise each performance based on keywords they hear in the problem . Students volition proceed to build their fact fluency to quickly add and subtract numbers within 10 . Next, students will learn to identify numbers 11-20, and count groups of up to 20 objects to tell how many. Once they accept mastered this, students volition learn to compose and decompose numbers to 20.
